MP50 PNG TRANSCEIVER
The MP50 is a wireless intercom system designed to be used in and around aircraft. Its robust, waterproof body is designed to be used in extreme environments where reliability is essential. The MP50 PNG Transceiver is now currently in use by the Swedish Emergency Services and is now a standard in all Eurocopter Helicopters.
Acorn Design has worked closely with the Axnes team to ensure that the product they receive follows the stringent Aviation Standards and satisfy the supplied brief.

Intravision Group work in the forefront of photo-biology, using variable LED technology to aid in the growth and development of food and plant based pharmaceuticals.
Intravision Group`s lighting system optimises specific light spectrum’s to trigger desired biological responses in plants that allow the growth and production of set proteins.

ECG247
The ECG247 unit is an atrial fibrillation device designed to monitor and detect heart fluctuations before serious symptoms arise. Without noticing, many of us often have deviations from the normal heart rhythm, the ECG247 unit makes the process of early detection much easier and simpler. Information is sent from the main unit attached to the chest and collected in the ECG247 app. This data can then be shared with relevant medical practitioners for analysis.

ERGONOMIC HAIRDRESSER SEAT
Neck, sholder and back pain are common amoung hairdressers because of the standing position they often have when cutting hair (raised sholders and arms). Acorn Design worked closely with Lena Staddeland and her team to create a chair which deals with many of the ergonomic issues which arise from daily use of current hairdresser chairs.
To help with improve these ergonomic issues the Sanasella chair is the lowest hairdresser seat on the market. We removed the common foot pump and replaced it with an easily accessable push button, on both sides of the chair, to raise and lower the seat. There is a rounded seat design, 360 degree rotation for easy access to the client from all angles and open base plate that allows the hairdresser to move closer to the client. We have chosen easy-to-clean materials and created an open design to make cleaning and brushing away hair easier.

VINO OUTDOOR LOUNGE
Sundays Design is a 100% Norwegian owned and manufactured outdoor furniture company. Inspired by the durability of boat seating, the brief was to create a piece of outdoor furniture which would be 100% waterproof and able to withstand long periods of time standing outside in the harsh Norwegian climate.
With the Norwegian market already saturated with rattan garden furniture, Acorn Design decided to create an elegant outdoor lounge that took a modern and elegant twist on the traditional sun-bed.

Sharebox is an integrated self-service unit supported by the company`s own software applications and web services. A reservation can be booked, keys dropped off in the secure Sharebox unit and an SMS is sent o customers with an integrated payment option. Ultimately the unit is a freestanding outdoor safe, certified to EN 1143-1.

Acorn Design has designed and developed the MP30 which is the more compact version of the MP50 PNG Transceiver. As with the MP50, the MP30 is also a wireless intercom system made to be used in and around aircraft. It also has a robust, waterproof body designed to be used in extreme environments - satisfying stringent Aviation Standards.

iVidi DEVICE
Acorn Design worked with the Evici team to create a functional and durable, solid aluminium housing for the iVidi Device. The unit connects wirelessly to a mobile phone or tablet and can measure an increase in temperature and moisture within a persons house. Blockages in pipes and hot circuitry can then be found and located before costly problems within the home arise. The iVidi Device can also be used as a measuring device with a mobile phones.

OPL SERIES
The Alu Design OPL Series is a collection of operator chairs which Acorn Design have created to allow for easily customisable seating. Mounting monitors, control buttons and joysticks on armrests are essential in these high end operator chairs. Consequentially, there is also a need to conceal cables. The OPL Series seats are therefore designed so cables can be concealed in the armrest and chair column and a cable tower has also been created to encase and support large quantities of cables where needed. In continuing to keep the concept clean and elegant Acorn Design also designed and developed the chair so welding is not required. This helps reduce costs in production and allows the chair to be taken apart easily should technical components, such as monitors, needed maintenance or repair.

IT WORKSTATION
The Choice Hotel IT Workstation is designed to simplify the work surface of the hotel`s reception. The laser cut aluminum chassis is able to adjust the keyboard and mouse heights using actuators. This provides a more ergonomic fit for the user. The frame is also designed as a storage system to help organise computer components and cabling.
